FABRICATION & GALVANIZING

Our fabrication capabilities include substations from 15Kv through 500Kv. We have designed substations from 15Kv through 345Kv. We design and fabricate using angles, wide flanges, structural tubes, and bent plate polygons, based on individual client specifications and requirements.

With capacity exceeding 10,000 pounds per hour and centrifuging capabilities, we are equipped to handle almost all of your galvanizing needs.

MECHANICAL GALVANIZING TUMBLER

The Mechanical Galvanizing Process is a room temperature process in which zinc coatings are applied to hardware without heat. Hardware is placed in a large tumbler along with zinc powder, special promoters, and glass impact media beads. The mechanical energy generated from the barrel’s rotation is transmitted through the glass impact media and causes the zinc powder to be mechanically welded to the surface. The glass media mix allows all exposed surfaces to be coated very uniformly, and the buoyancy of the glass media cushions the hardware in the tumbler to minimize thread nicking. The room temperature process ensures no chance of re-tempering or softening high strength hardware/fasteners and guards against hydrogen embrittlement as the product is never exposed to acid pickling in the process.

Our 10,000 square foot galvanizing plant, adjacent to our fabrication plant, is ready to meet your Hot Dip Galvanizing needs!
